Job Description:
The Solaris Administrator role will be working within the Unix server support team, with the data centre environment. Providing 2nd/3rd level support and maintenance of Solaris versions 8, 9 and 10 and IBM AIX hardware and third party products. Using remedy to manage problems that arise and provide technical expertise for hardware and software problem diagnostics. Support will be on-call out of hours 24x7. Providing a good problem solving skills where in any situation you are able to find the answer to your problem whether it be an area you are skilled in or not.
